SNCF Voyageurs and Malaysia Airlines collaborate to provide air-rail connectivity throughout France.

In order to offer smooth air and rail connectivity between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and 28 locations throughout France, Malaysia Airlines has established a new codeshare cooperation with SNCF Voyageurs, France’s primary rail operator.

Through the agreement, which is available through SNCF VoyageursTRAIN + AIR offering, Malaysia Airlines passengers arriving in Paris can use the nation’s high-speed rail network to continue their journey to key French cities by combining air and rail travel into a single itinerary.

Starting on July 10, 2026, tickets under the new agreement can be purchased on the airline’s official website.

Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airline Business, Malaysia Aviation Group stated, “This partnership with SNCF Voyageurs represents a key step in advancing our broader strategy to deliver truly seamless, end-to-end connectivity for our customers across Europe. We are expanding our network reach beyond CDG to 28 locations around France by combining air and rail into a single travel experience. This improves connectivity and gives passengers more convenience with smooth connections and a single itinerary.”

According to the agreement, Malaysia Airlines will use AccesRail’s IATA code “9B” to apply its marketing code on SNCF-operated rail services, allowing passengers to reserve rail segments as part of their subsequent travels through Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Simplified transfers and coordinated connections to locations including Lyon, Strasbourg, Rennes, Lille, and Marseille will be made possible by the cooperation.

The airline claims that the cooperation supports its MHrail program, which aims to improve the whole travel experience for customers while expanding integrated air-rail connectivity through strategic alliances across major international gateways, such as Seoul and London Heathrow.
