Hilton increases its presence in Turks and Caicos with LXR Hotels & Resorts and AMARIS Grace Bay
The custom luxury resort and branded homes, which are scheduled to open in 2028, will have sophisticated architecture, genuine character, and a dedication to sustainable elegance in the centre of the Caribbean.
Hilton revealed that AMARIS Grace Bay, which will make its debut on the legendary Grace Bay Beach in 2028, has been signed to its exclusive LXR Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Situated along immaculate beaches, AMARIS offers guests an exclusive haven characterised by superb design and individualised service, adding a new level of carefully considered luxury to Turks & Caicos.
With 170 tastefully furnished guest rooms and suites, plus branded apartments with one to four bedrooms, this mixed-use getaway will provide expansive views of the famous turquoise bay.
Alongside the recently revealed Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay, AMARIS Grace Bay, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Turks and Caicos, is part of a string of outstanding developments around the Caribbean and Latin America. Pablo Maturana, vice president of development, architecture, design, and construction for Hilton’s Caribbean and Latin America division, stated, “The strategic additions to Hilton’s growing pipeline in Turks and Caicos strengthen Hilton’s commitment to accelerating growth in high-demand luxury markets.” “AMARIS Grace Bay is the ideal complement to the LXR portfolio, embodying Hilton’s mission to create exceptional experiences in the most sought-after locations in the region. We are pleased to provide iconic sites that will honour the rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty of each location as we expand our footprint.
While wellness enthusiasts can rejuvenate in a state-of-the-art spa and fitness facility spanning approximately 10,000 square feet, dedicated pool and beach service will guarantee effortless relaxation. An compact 970-square-foot event area perfect for meetings and get-togethers will be appreciated by social, group, and incentive travellers. With a fully furnished kids’ club and game room, families and young explorers will be well-served, making every visitor’s stay unforgettable.
“Our goal for AMARIS Grace Bay was to establish a community that is both ageless and intricately linked to the breathtaking beauty of Grace Bay. We are creating a sophisticated, eco-friendly, and comfortable experience. According to Fio Firat Mayil, founder and president of SEFAMM (TCI) Ltd., “LXR Hotels & Resorts is a partner that champions the individuality and authentic spirit we are bringing to life.”
“As we launch our brand in one of the most recognisable locations in the Caribbean, the signing of AMARIS Grace Bay is an important milestone for LXR Hotels & Resorts and Branded Residential by Hilton portfolio. Feisal Jaffer, worldwide head of LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, stated, “Grace Bay’s unforced beauty and lively culture make it the ideal setting for a property that combines sophisticated residential living, immersive experiences, and elevated design.” “Our focus remains on curating independent, unique properties in strategic destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America and beyond, even as we continue to carefully expand our global collection.”
With almost 300 hotels spread throughout more than 35 nations and territories, Hilton is growing at a record rate throughout the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA). Over 100 hotels in the area are part of the luxury and leisure portfolio, which also includes boutique establishments that were introduced through a strategic alliance with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). In addition, the company has over 160 hotels in the CALA pipeline—the most for the area in its history—with 50 of them falling into the luxury and lifestyle categories. With the aim of almost doubling its footprint across these three brands, Hilton intends to keep growing its luxury portfolio, which includes its well-known brands Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
