In June 2026, Singapore Airlines will begin operating in Hangzhou.
Subject to regulatory permissions, Singapore Airlines (SIA) plans to begin daily flights between Singapore and Hangzhou, China on June 1, 2026. The airline will fly its Airbus A350-900 medium-haul model, which has 303 seats divided between two cabin classes: 263 in Economy Class and 40 in Business Class.
On June 1, 2026, the first aircraft, SQ838, is scheduled to take off from Singapore at 1740 hours (local time) and land in Hangzhou at 2250 hours (local time). On June 2, 2026, the return flight, SQ839, is slated to take off from Hangzhou at 00:10 (local time) and arrive in Singapore at 05:10 (local time).
The airline’s low-cost affiliate, Scoot, is said to offer daily flights to the city in addition to SIA’s daily services. After Beijing Daxing, this will be SIA’s ninth stop in China. The SIA Group’s dedication to this significant market is demonstrated by the 22 destinations it serves collectively in mainland China.
