Hilton Debuts Curio Collection in India.

The Curio Collection by Hilton will make its debut in India with the inauguration of Slohh by Roach in Bengaluru, which is also the company’s first lifestyle hotel in the nation.
The 221-key hotel was built in collaboration with Roach Lifescapes and is situated in Whitefield, one of Bengaluru’s most important commercial and technological districts. The facility blends regionally inspired design with modern hospitality, drawing inspiration from the coffee estates and residential legacy of Karnataka’s Malnad region.
Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton stated, “Bengaluru continues to be a key market for Hilton in India, shaped by its strong business ecosystem and evolving travel demand. As we broaden our portfolio to satisfy the increasing demand for unique, experience-led hospitality, the launch of Curio Collection in South Asia, which represents our first lifestyle product in India, is an important milestone. The opening of this hotel is a reflection of our goal to introduce internationally recognised brands to India in ways that are highly relevant to the local market, fusing authenticity, character, and the outstanding hospitality that visitors anticipate from Hilton.”
Seven types of rooms and suites are available at Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, Curio Collection by Hilton, several of which have balconies with views of Varthur Lake and the Bengaluru skyline. Inspired by traditional plantation homes, the Malnad Presidential Suite has separate living and dining spaces.
Among the dining alternatives is Nana’s, an all-day eatery that serves Indian and foreign cuisine along with delicacies influenced by the Malnad region of Karnataka. Additionally, the hotel has an Executive Club Lounge that is open to both residents and visitors.
The Banyan, a 5,000-square-foot pillarless ballroom that can hold up to 600 guests and is complemented by a 3,000-square-foot pre-function area, meeting rooms, and a boardroom, is available on the property for meetings, weddings, and events. A 24-hour fitness center, a hammam, a temperature-controlled outdoor pool, and a full-service spa are examples of wellness amenities.
A Potter-in-Residence studio, the Grandma’s Recipe culinary initiative, and carefully chosen music programming with jazz, rhythm and blues, and classic songs are just a few of the regionally inspired activities the hotel offers.
Tal Shefer, Senior Vice President, Brand Management, Asia Pacific, Hilton stated, “Every Curio Collection property is chosen for its unique character and sense of place. Slohh by Roach highlights our commitment on hotels that are shaped by their environment through carefully considered design, carefully chosen culinary experiences, and locally inspired programming as we introduce the brand to India.”
Christina Roach, founder of Roach Lifescapes stated, “With Slohh by Roach, we wanted to create a hotel that feels deeply connected to the way people want to live, making it an experience that guests will remember. Our personal upbringing and our experiences with hospitality at home, where food was the focal point of every event and everyone felt at home, have influenced the idea. Through intelligent design, nostalgic cuisine, and really compassionate, intuitive service, we aimed to bring that sense into an urban hotel experience. We are excited to collaborate with Hilton to realise our goal by building India’s first Curio Collection hotel. The hotel will give visitors a stay characterised by uniqueness, inventiveness, and deep local connections, reflecting Bengaluru’s culture in a way that feels genuine and modern.”
Slohh by Roach is a member of the Hilton Honours loyalty program, which allows members to enjoy a variety of member benefits and digital services while earning and redeeming points.
