Ginger Sindhudurg is signed by IHCL in Maharashtra.

With intentions to increase its inventory to 50 keys, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a Ginger in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, a conversion of a solo hotel.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President-Real Estate & Development, IHCL stated, “Sindhudurg is emerging as a sought-after leisure destination on Maharashtra’s Konkan coast, driven by improving connectivity, growing visitor foot traffic, and increasing demand for short stay travel. Its picturesque coastline and ease of access to important feeder markets like Mumbai, Pune, and Goa set it up for long-term tourism growth. We are pleased to collaborate with Ms. Sawant on this project, and this signing underlines our plan to increase the brand’s visibility in high-potential locations.”
The 50-key Ginger Sindhudurg will have a bar and an all-day dining restaurant. The property will be ideal for business meetings, conferences, and social festivities because it will have a banquet hall, a fully furnished gym, a swimming pool, and meeting spaces.
“We are thrilled to partner with IHCL to bring the Ginger brand to Sindhudurg. We are eager to collaborate with IHCL and add to the destination’s expanding tourism attractiveness,” Priyanka Sawant continued.
With this hotel, IHCL will have 66 properties in Maharashtra, 34 of which are currently under construction.
