StarDream Cruises Introduces Bhajan Jamming at Sea on Genting Dream.
The immersive and inclusive style of Bhajan Jamming, an innovative community-led and participatory form of devotional music, is gaining popularity throughout India. These events, which go beyond conventional theatrical productions, unite people to sing well-known bhajans together, fusing social interaction with spiritual expression.
Dream Cruises plans to launch what is reportedly the first-ever “Bhajan Jamming at Sea” on its ship, Genting Dream, in an effort to capitalise on this expanding cultural trend. On May 26 and June 9, 2026, the concept will make its debut with carefully planned themed sailings with three-night itineraries from Singapore to Phuket and return.
The sessions will stay true to the spirit of Bhajan Jamming they will be impromptu, interactive, and accessible to everyone. In order to turn the event from a staged performance into a shared devotional moment, guests will be invited to sing along, clap to rhythmic beats, and participate in a group musical experience.
