ITC Hotels Expands in Maharashtra with Two Fortune Properties in Nashik and Tadoba.

ITC Hotels Limited has strengthened its expansion plan in Maharashtra by announcing the signing of two additional properties under its Fortune Hotels brand: Fortune Jungle Resort Tadoba and Fortune Select Nashik.
In addition to strengthening its position in one of India’s most vibrant hospitality sectors, the twin signings highlight ITC Hotels’ focus and strategic expansion across high-growth leisure, pilgrimage, and rising urban locations.
ITC Hotels, which operates six hotels in Maharashtra two of which are Fortune properties continues to expand its footprint in the state by providing a well-balanced range of business, leisure, and destination-led services.
Maharashtra is a major growth engine for ITC Hotels, according to Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited. “Our deliberate goal to increase our presence in high-potential tier II locations around the state is reinforced by the addition of two new Fortune properties.” While Tadoba is becoming more well-known as one of the most popular wildlife tourism circuits in the area, Nashik represents a singular intersection of spirituality, viticulture, and increasing urbanisation.
“This expansion allows for diversification of our portfolio beyond the metros, strengthening our leisure, destination-led offerings, and a meaningful contribution towards the growth of domestic tourism. We aim to combine long-term economic momentum with significant cultural relevance,” he continued.
The brand’s first nature resort and third property in the state will be the Fortune Jungle Resort Tadoba, which is situated next to the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. In addition to features like a swimming pool, wellness spa, kids’ play area, all-day eating restaurant, bar, and event spaces for leisure travellers and wildlife aficionados, the resort will have rooms with a natural theme.
With 105 rooms plus dining, banquet, and meeting spaces, Fortune Select Nashik is expected to open in October 2028 and serve both business and leisure travellers.
The development supports the growth of domestic tourism across culturally and economically significant locations and is consistent with ITC Hotels’ objective to expand outside metropolitan areas and bolster its destination-led portfolio.
