Taiwan Brings Its Biggest Tourism Roadshow to New Delhi.

The Indian travel industry came together for an immersive evening honouring Taiwan on February 3, 2026, at The Taj Mansingh in New Delhi, for the Taiwan Mega Roadshow & Networking Dinner. The venue came alive through dynamic exchanges, inventive art-led activities, and an enticing cultural performance that highlighted Taiwan’s rich legacy.

The Taiwanese delegation demonstrated a thorough awareness of the Indian market during the roadshow, which was characterised by sincere friendship and easy humour. It demonstrated the thought and attention Taiwan’s operators put into welcoming Indian tourists, even going above and above to make them feel at home.

The event was graced by H.E. Paul Shih, Director, Taiwan Tourism Administration, and H.E. Mumin Chen, Ambassador, TECC (Taiwan Embassy), underscoring Taiwan’s rising ambition to increase tourism engagement and create deeper trade connections with India.

Noel Saxena, CEO and Co-Founder of Blink Brand Solutions, established the tone for the evening, cordially welcoming the delegates and keeping the tempo interactive, engaging, and fun from the outset. Taiwan Introduces Its Largest Tourism Roadshow.

Mumin Chen stated, “Ten or fifteen years ago, many people in India did not know Taiwan. Today, they recognise it quickly, and that makes us proud. Despite being a small island, Taiwan provides incredible diversity, from high mountain peaks to tropical landscapes and a culture that is distinctively its own. Beyond urban cities, there is nature, art, and heritage waiting to be experienced. We cordially urge Indian travellers to discover Taiwan beyond what they currently know.”

The third Taiwan Tourism Roadshow in Delhi was the biggest so far, indicating the growing interest in the destination and the confidence with which Taiwan is engaging the Indian market. Often linked with semiconductors and high-tech production, Taiwan displayed an entirely other side, one distinguished by warm hospitality, distinct cultural identity, and magnificent natural scenery. The Taiwan office in Delhi has also been establishing these links through cultural events, including film festivals, concerts, and visits by Taiwanese writers and filmmakers.

Kuanchu Chen, Chief of Taiwan Tourism Administration Said, “This year’s Taiwan Tourism delegation is the largest we have ever brought to India, reflecting the growing importance of the Indian market for Taiwan. In 2025, about 47,000 Indian visitors visited Taiwan, and the pace has continued to develop rapidly. We want our Indian partners to collaborate directly with our Taiwanese travel companies to build innovative travel experiences together. This being his first visit to India, he conveyed his joy at being in New Delhi and complimented the travel trade for its long standing support and growing interest in Taiwan.”

The delegation includes seven travel agents, along with Thai Airways, participating in the roadshow. Kuanchu underlined that these partners provide strong industry knowledge and are keen to engage closely with Indian tourism companies. He pointed out that the constant rise from India demonstrates both rising interest and the confidence created between travel partners in these two countries. Echoing the Ambassador’s statements, he said Taiwan is an easy, safe and welcome destination that offers far more than just Taipei 101.

Presentations by Thai Airways and travel providers from Taiwan kept the evening both informed and entertaining, while thrilling prizes brought an element of fun throughout the event. More than just a networking dinner, the event enabled actual conversations and cultural interchange, allowing attendees a fuller, more nuanced perspective of Taiwan beyond its status as a technology powerhouse.
