Travog launches SME travel and expenditure card with Mastercard.

In order to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) better manage their business travel expenditures, Travog has announced a partnership with Mastercard to launch the Travog travel and expense card. Bookings, payments, approvals, and reporting will all be combined into one system thanks to the card’s integration with Travog’s travel and expense management platform.

With booking records, card transactions, reimbursements, and approval procedures frequently handled independently, the solution attempts to address the difficulties involved in handling corporate travel expenses across numerous platforms. Expense reconciliation may be delayed and financial visibility may be restricted by such disjointed systems.

Employers will be able to set spending caps, enforce travel regulations, and handle permissions before to and during travels with the Travog travel and expense card, while employees will be able to pay for authorised business travel. The software would give finance and travel teams real-time visibility into spending by connecting card transactions with travel reservations and cost information.

Gaurav Chiripal, CEO of Travog stated, “Business travel payments should be straightforward for employees and transparent for finance teams. By integrating payment, policy, and travel data into Travog, our partnership with Mastercard enables organisations to monitor spending as it occurs rather than after the trip is over.”

The solution integrates Mastercard’s worldwide payments network and payment capabilities with Travog’s AI-powered self-booking features, expenditure management tools, approval workflows, and analytics.

Omoke Adebanjo, Senior Vise President, Merchants and Commerce, EEMEA, Mastercard stated, “Business travel and expense management are becoming strategic priorities for organisations that need better visibility, control, and efficiency across every transaction. We are assisting companies in transitioning from disjointed procedures to a more streamlined, safe, and data-driven approach to spend management by combining Mastercard’s payment capabilities with Travog’s integrated travel and cost platform.”

Organisations will be able to examine card transactions, booking details, and expense claims all in one system thanks to the integrated platform, which will minimise manual reconciliation and enable finance teams to spot any policy exceptions sooner.

Travog now provides travel booking, policy compliance, expenditure collection, approval, reimbursement, and reporting services to businesses in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions.

With an emphasis on SMEs looking for more control over business travel expenditures, the Mastercard-powered card expands Travog’s current platform by directly integrating payment controls into corporate travel and expense management workflows.
