IndiGo starts operating direct flights from Chennai to Réunion Island
With the new route, IndiGo becomes the only Indian airline to provide nonstop connection to the island, expanding travel possibilities for both business and leisure visitors as well as the sizable Indian diaspora that lives there.
Three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, IndiGo will run flights on the Chennai–Réunion Island route. The return flight departs at 18:10 (local time) and arrives in Chennai at 02:10 the next day, while the outward aircraft leaves Chennai at 12:20 and arrives in Réunion at 17:10 (local time).

With the launch of this special route, IndiGo is now the only Indian airline that provides direct service between India and the island, which is also home to a sizable Indian diaspora. Customers now have more options and convenience thanks to this new direct service, whether they are travelling, trading, or just visiting loved ones.
