Havila Voyages appoints Yorker Holidays its Authorised Partner for India
To facilitate sale of its cruises in the Indian market, Havila Voyages has designated Yorker Holidays as an official partner. Under the arrangement, Yorker Holidays will leverage its broad B2B network to market Havila Voyages’ coastal cruise experiences along Norway’s famed coastline.
Havila Voyages is well known for its Northern Lights itineraries and offers eco-friendly coastline cruises. A prominent highlight of the product offering is the company’s Northern Lights Promise, designed to provide reassurance to tourists wishing to view the aurora borealis throughout their vacation.
The Northern Lights Promise applies to travellers booked on the 12-day Round Voyage from Bergen to Kirkenes and return, sailing between October 1 and March 31. Passengers are offered a free second trip if the Northern Lights do not appear during the journey. This includes a choice of either a 6 or 7 day Voyage North from Bergen to Kirkenes or a Voyage South from Kirkenes to Bergen, valid throughout the next Northern Lights season.
The assurance is effective only if passengers have enabled the Northern Lights alarm system onboard. Regardless of the weather or the guests’ real visibility, the ship determines whether a Northern Lights occurrence has occurred.
Yorker Holidays’ hiring is anticipated to increase Havila Voyages’ market share in India and meet the increasing demand of Indian outbound tourists for nature-led and immersive travel, especially to places like Norway and the Arctic.
