Radisson adds 150 keys to its Rajasthan portfolio.

The Radisson Hotel Group has announced that it has entered Kishangarh, Rajasthan, with the signing of the Radisson Hotel Kishangarh. This acquisition is expected to highlight the Group’s emphasis on expanding its footprint in developing markets and reaffirm its dedication to expanding its holdings in Rajasthan, where it will open its 20th resort.

In addition to benefiting from spillover leisure and pilgrimage traffic from Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Pushkar, the resort seeks to capitalise on significant corporate, airline, and transit demand. The Radisson Hotel Kishangarh will offer 150 luxurious rooms and suites, modern dining options, and adaptable meeting and event spaces.

Commercial travel, religious tourism, and increased regional connectivity are all contributing factors to Kishangarh’s emergence as a high-potential hotel sector. Situated next to Kishangarh Airport and within 30 to 45 kilometres of Ajmer and Pushkar, the city enjoys consistent year-round demand but has little branded hotel penetration. According to Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, “We are able to get an early-mover advantage in an area where organised hospitality supply is still very underdeveloped thanks to the signing of the Radisson Hotel Kishangarh. We see sustainable long-term demand across corporate, leisure, and event segments, supported by the region’s robust marble and manufacturing economy as well as steady social and pilgrimage-led travel. This addition strengthens our leadership position in Rajasthan and aligns with our strategy to expand in tier-2 markets with clear demand fundamentals and scalable growth potential.”

When the property opens in Q2 2027, it is predicted to be well-positioned to exceed the competitive set and attain substantial market penetration.

Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director, Development, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, stated, “Our plan to grow in underserved but rapidly expanding markets with solid fundamentals and long-term value is reflected in this signing. Kishangarh is a perfect destination for our Radisson brand because of its advantageous location between Ajmer and Pushkar, better air connectivity, and robust demand drivers from the marble trade and tourism industry. We look forward to building a landmark hotel that combines global standards with strong local relevance while creating sustained value for our partners and guests.”

“This collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group represents a significant turning point for our Kishangarh project. We found great value in collaborating with a globally renowned brand that offers operational know-how and market reach as the city continues to develop as a hub for trade, travel, and tourism. We have no doubt that the Radisson Hotel Kishangarh will raise the bar for hospitality in the area and significantly advance the tourism and economic growth of the city. We anticipate a long and prosperous relationship with the Group,” said Rajendra Gupta, Partner, Cygnus Township LLP.
