China to Build First Fully Robot-Serviced Hotel.

A strategic partnership agreement has been inked by Pudu Robotics and Shenzhen Culture & Tourism Industry Development Co. Ltd (Shenzhen CITD) to create what is being called the first full-scenario robot-serviced hotel in history. Within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the project will be situated on the West Artificial Island of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, one of China’s biggest infrastructure projects.

Almost every guest touchpoint, including reception, check-in, room service, housekeeping, food and beverage delivery, cleaning, and guest support, will use robotics as part of the hotel’s design as a next-generation hospitality destination. With the use of multi-robot cooperation and embodied artificial intelligence (AI), the initiative seeks to set a new standard for intelligent hospitality.

Cong Guo, Pudu Robotics’ co-founder and chief technology officer, commented on the collaboration, saying, “This partnership represents an important step toward large-scale deployment of embodied intelligence in premium hospitality environments.” Additionally, it offers a chance to investigate novel service models in which robotics and artificial intelligence collaborate to give intelligent, comprehensive real-world experiences.

The hotel will be built on the West Artificial Island of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, a historic transportation project that links important cities in the Greater Bay Area with bridges, tunnels, artificial islands, and underwater interchanges. The site has been chosen to present cutting-edge hospitality technologies to tourists from all around the world.

Through 2030, the project will be carried out in several stages. The development roadmap states that trial operations are anticipated to start by the end of 2026, with phased adoption starting this year. In the first stage, a few guest rooms and robot-driven services will be made available to the general public, enabling guests to take advantage of automated in-room delivery, intelligent check-in, and automated reception.

During the signing event, Pudu Robotics displayed a portfolio of hospitality robots to illustrate the idea. PUDU CC1 Pro and PUDU MT1 for AI-powered cleaning operations, BellaBot Pro for food and beverage service, KettyBot Pro for refreshment delivery and guest information, PUDU D5 for interactive guest engagement, FlashBot for autonomous retail and room delivery, and PUDU T300 for luggage transportation and autonomous lift interaction were all featured in the demonstration.

The new initiative is built around a fully integrated robotic ecosystem where several robots cooperate throughout the visitor experience, in contrast to traditional smart hotels that depend on separate automation systems. The robots will work inside a single operational framework to provide consistent and individualised service from arrival and check-in to housekeeping, dining, room service, and back-of-house operations.

PuduAgent, the company’s AI agent platform, and PuduFM 1.0, Pudu Robotics’ embodied intelligence foundation architecture, will power the intelligent operations. The platform, which is based on world-model-driven navigation technologies and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, enables many robot types to share a common intelligence architecture, enabling them to comprehend human interactions, optimise navigation, and dynamically adapt to changing settings.

Pudu Robotics claims that the integrated AI platform ensures a consistent client experience while speeding deployment across various service scenarios. The project, according to the business, will show how robots, AI, and hospitality can come together to build one of the first fully end-to-end robotic hotel environments in history, establishing a new standard for intelligent travel and hospitality in the future.
