The appointment of Yaqoob Al Kiyumi as CEO of SalamAir.

With effect from October 1, 2026, SalamAir has appointed Eng. Yaqoob bin Saif bin Hamoud Al Kiyumi to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment represents the beginning of a new phase in the development of the airline, which is continuing to pursue its strategic targets, which include achieving sustainable growth, achieving operational excellence, providing excellent customer service, and enhancing its role within Oman’s aviation sector.

Following the announcement that Al Kiyumi will take over as Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, the Board of Directors has expressed their appreciation for the leadership and achievements that Adrian Hamilton-Manns made during his time in that role.

Al Kiyumi was welcomed into the job by the Board of Directors, who stated that his leadership will build upon the foundations that were already in place at SalamAir as the airline moves into the next chapter of its growth and development.

According to the long-term plan that SalamAir has developed, the company will continue to concentrate on offering air travel that is both reasonable and accessible, while also developing connectivity between Oman and worldwide markets.

In addition, the airline intends to make a contribution to the ongoing development of Oman’s tourist and aviation industries, which is in keeping with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
